• While at geo, I introduced and championed a number of design tools, processes and best practices, including Sketch, Zeplin and Confluence. The full adoption of these tools in the business revolutionised the design work conducted at the company. Three separate product-specific apps, and one combined unified app were designed, while working.
• Zeplin embeds now available in Confluence and Jira Zeplin helps developers organize and collaborate on designs.we also like that. That’s why we’ve built the functionality for you to fully embed a Zeplin file on a Confluence page or Jira ticket – all made possible by Smart Links.

The export of Zeplin is very simple and automatically generates a large number of baseline specs. The App is also a good tool to develop a style guide, export visual assets and add personalised notes to the designs. Zeplin released a recent update that enables engineers to compare a statically coded version of a design view so that subtle differences can be quickly discovered. The views can be side by side or reduced by placing the opacity of the Zeplin view directly above the coded version.

It would be nice to have a Confluence widget connector for Zeplin just as in Jira where Zeplin artefacts are viewable both as a thumbnail and at full size / resizable images in confluence table cells
